The Data We Collect and How We Process It

TOPÁZIO (Ferreira Marques & Irmão, S.A.) may have access to your data through our websites, customer platform, forms, equipment and/or social networks. The data collected is the one strictly necessary for the pursuit of the purposes for which they are intended, namely:

• To register you as a Customer, by logging in (email or through the social network Facebook);
• To Use a Discount (name, address, parents, email address, date of birth and gender) – we inform you that the date of birth will only be used for the purpose of sending discounts in order to congratulate you on your birthday, and, as it is optional, your choice is optional. With regard to the identification of Gender, this data is used only for internal statistical purposes, and it’s also optional.
• To provide you with our newsletter services, only and only when requested (name and email);
• When using the Customer Support form, the data collected here has the sole purpose of responding to the information requested by the Customer, managing their requests and controlling the quality of our products (name, e-mail);

8. Right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority – if you consider that your data is not being legitimately processed by TOPÁZIO (Ferreira Marques & Irmão, S.A.), in accordance with applicable law and this Policy.

Under the terms of the law, you are also guaranteed the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of data whose consent constitutes the basis for the legitimacy of the respective processing. To this end, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, which does not, however, invalidate the processing carried out up to that date on the basis of the consent previously given. TOPÁZIO (Ferreira Marques & Irmão, S.A.) will reply in writing (including by electronic means) to the User's request within a maximum period of one month from receipt of the request, except in cases of particular complexity, where this period may be extended. If the requests submitted by the User are manifestly unjustified or excessive, namely due to their repetitive nature, TOPÁZIO (Ferreira Marques & Irmão, S.A.) reserves the right to charge administrative costs or refuse to comply with the request.

Retention period of Personal Data

We retain Personal Data only for the period/time necessary to perform the specific purposes for which it was collected. However, we may be required to store some Personal Data for a longer period of time, taking into account factors such as:

• legal obligations under applicable laws to retain Personal Data for a certain period of time;
• statute of limitations/statute of limitations under applicable laws;
• Disputes; and
