Use to the oak leaf in this piece carries the meaning of longevity and resistance, like topázio's 150 years. may many more come, ensuring the continuity of the tradition of good workmanship. to create the oak leaves, a mold was made where they were shaped one by one and after the sheet was cut, they were chiseled. i tried to use as many traditional techniques as possible that topázio offered me, but in contrast with the simple lines of the body of the vase, where repoussé was used. topázio is a wealth of knowledge, at every stall there is a master.
